The Day of the Dead, is one of my favorite Mexican celebrations. We celebrate the people who left before us.
Cerveza Victoria had a runway show two weeks ago featuring Mexican designers such as: Armando Takeda, Ocelote, Malafacha, Carla Fernández, Galo Bertin, Marika Vera, Karla Luna, and Cynthia Buttenklepper.
The theme of the runway was Mictlán which represents in the Mexica mithology the underworld where the dead go.
I enjoyed the runway and the after party so much, the experience was unique. I love the way it took us back to our Mexican roots, where celebrating the dead is a tradition.
