Today I went to see Naty Abascal and Fashion! exhibition at the Jumex Museum. I was lucky that I had the chance to go, since tomorrow will be it’s last day at the museum. You don’t have to pay your tickets, the entrance is free and you can come in from 10 am to 8 pm. Next to the museum you will find ENO coffee shop and take a sip of coffee or eat Mexican cuisine after or before your visit.
“Naty Abascal and Fashion! explores the relationship between mirror, dress, designer, photography, and especially Naty as an inspiration.”
You will find Naty’s personal fashion collection from Oscar de la Renta, Elie Saab, Etro, Dior, Balenciaga, Valentino, Christian Lacroix, Gucci, among others. Naty is a fashion model and stylist, her breakthrough was in 1964 at Elio Berthanyer’s runway show in New York. She has been a muse for several designers, inspiration for cinematographer Woody Allen, photographed and captured by Avedon among other artists, cover of Andy Warhol’s magazine. A fashion living woman.
