A couple of weeks ago, I visited the store and studio of CRUDA, the brand founded by Costa Rican designer Pamela Hernández. Back in 2021, I wrote about the brand and its approach to sustainable, ethical footwear, so experiencing the space in person felt especially meaningful.
Now, five years later, I had the opportunity to step inside their store/studio now established in Colonia Roma for the very first time. The visit offered a deeper understanding of the brand’s universe. I was particularly drawn to the designs and the upcycling techniques they have so thoughtfully developed, where craftsmanship and sustainability come together in a very authentic way.
