A week ago, I had the opportunity to attend “Distrito 12,” a graduate fashion show featuring students from Universidad de Londres. The event took place at House of Vans, and you could feel the amazing energy from the moment you walked into the venue.
Surrounded by professors, friends, and family, it was an incredible evening dedicated to celebrating the students’ talent and creativity.
For me, it is very important to give emerging designers a space on the blog, because their talent deserves to be recognized and shared. It is also a way to help young creatives gain visibility while celebrating such an important milestone in their careers.
The runway featured collections by 12 students, each presenting a distinctive creative vision with a strong sense of identity that came through on the runway.
